Billing & Credits

Credits

How credits work, what each analysis costs, and how to buy more.

Credits are the currency you spend on every analysis: admixture models, genetic distance, and rotation sweeps. Your subscription includes a weekly credit allowance that covers all of them, including rotation sweeps on both engines; anything beyond your weekly allowance runs on purchased credits. Purchased credits cost $0.50 each, come in any amount, and never expire.

What credits cover

Basic includes 500 credits every week and Pro includes 700, refreshed at the start of each week. A single admixture or genetic distance run costs 1 credit and draws from your weekly allowance first, then from any purchased credits. Rotation sweeps cost a flat 10 credits from your weekly allowance (either engine); once the allowance is used up they run on purchased credits at 4 (ADMIXTOOLS2) or 3 (legacy AdmixTools).

Rotation is a flat price no matter how many models the sweep runs (up to the 1,600 cap). From your weekly plan allowance every sweep costs 10 credits; from purchased credits an ADMIXTOOLS2 sweep costs 4 credits ($2.00) and a legacy AdmixTools sweep costs 3 credits ($1.50). The cost is shown in the configure panel before you start the run.

Buying credits

Open the Store from the sidebar. Enter the number of credits you want to buy (minimum 10) and complete the checkout. Credits are added to your account immediately after payment.

  • Minimum purchase: 10 credits ($5.00).
  • Maximum purchase per transaction: 1,000 credits ($500.00).
  • Credits never expire and carry over between billing periods.

Failed runs

If a run fails during computation (after the analysis has started but before results are returned), the credit charge is refunded automatically. Runs that fail due to a configuration error before starting do not charge credits.
